National Play Therapy Week 2021

Play Therapy Supervision

The Association for Play Therapy (APT) has revised the criteria for supervision for aspiring Registered Play Therapists. In this workshop, attention will be given to the essential elements of play therapy supervision as it relates to professional growth and skill of the developing play therapist in relationship to the advanced criteria of the RPT certification.

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to:

1. Discuss skills and criteria necessary for play therapy supervision.

2. Discuss documentation tools suitable for play therapy supervision.

3. Discuss specific issues unique to play therapy supervision.

3 APT Non Contact CEs - Supervision

About our presenter: 

Teri V. Krull, LCSW, RPT-S, DCSW (NASW) has a 35-year play therapy private practice treating children and providing consultation to professionals and parents. A member of APT since 1985 and a co-founder and first president of the Arizona APT, she served 6 years on the APT Board; chaired the APT Board of Directors (2000), and is currently a board member of the National APT Foundation. Teri is an international presenter in play therapy, parent coach, and has produced 4 educational play therapy films for long distance learning. In 2010 she was honored with the Arizona District and State NASW Lifetime Achievement Award. Teri is licensed in both Arizona and Maryland. 

VIRTUAL: This will be a virtual meeting so participants can see each other. Participants will be awarded NON-CONTACT CE upon successful completion of a post test.

AZAPT is approved by the Association for Play Therapy to offer continuing education specific to Play Therapy. APT Approved Provider 97-035. AZAPT maintains responsibility for the program. Registrants understand and agree that any photograph (screen shot), video or audio recording of themselves may be used to further promote AZAPT.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be requested in writing and received no later than January 11, 2021. Cancellations are subject to a $15 processing fee. Substitutions (someone else attending) or transfer of registration to another training date may be requested. No refunds or partial refunds will be considered after January 11, 2021.
