National Play Therapy Week 2021
Introduction to the Use of Sandtray in Play Therapy, Part A
Presented by Theresa Fraser, CYC-P, CPT-S, RP, MA, RCT
This two-part training will explore the history of sandtray as a play therapy modality. When working with sandtray, it is important that practitioners understand the importance of image selection and witnessing the sandtray process as part of a play therapy session. Practitioners will be able to create their own sandtray, while also experiencing the act of witnessing another's sandtray creation. This play therapy modality can be a key component in the play therapy process, both for client and therapist. Come prepared with the needed materials to create your own sandtray.
