Bringing Mindfulness and Movement into Play Therapy
Presented by Leslie Pechkurow, MC, LPC
This training will help the individual use mindfulness to teach body awareness and understanding of emotions in play therapy. The individual will learn techniques that are grounded in play for children to pay more attention to their bodies, and thus their emotions. The training will incorporate movement, breathwork, and self-awareness in a playful manner so that children can relate and have fun while learning ways to calm down and feel better about themselves.
