What Now? An Advanced Play Therapy Discussion Group

Presented by Juliet Fortino, LPC, RPT-S and Jenn Pereira, Ph.D., LPC, RPT-S

Do you ever wonder if you’re on the right track? Are you ever not sure of your play therapy approach with clients? Do you ever question your play therapy self with, “Hmm..now what?" Well, you’re not alone. Many seasoned play therapists still wonder what they’re doing with clients and if they are taking the right approach in the play therapy room. Come join this discussion group to explore how to take your basic skills to the next level. (This play therapy workshop assumes some prior training in play therapy and basic skill level in play therapy practice.)

  2. Analyze “typical” play therapy strategies used in your practice and impact on clients.
  3. Discuss difficulties that impede your growth as a play therapist.
  4. Create a plan for taking your play therapy practice to a deeper level.

Level of training: Intermediate-Advanced
